I have more than 35 years experience in engineering and computer database systems. Early in my career, I worked for Litton Data Systems in software quality assurance and environmental test services. I performed variety of environmental tests on defense-related computer systems including sine/random vibration, high/medium impact shock, temperature cycling, sand & dust, fungus, electrical tests, and EMI/RFI. In 1981, I was promoted to associate engineer where I specialized in materials & processes and electro-mechanical components. In 1983, Singer Librascope hired me as an environmental test engineer. Two years later, I transferred to the components engineering group, where I designed and code a large military parts selection program in COBOL. Since then, I have designed numerous database system in everything from dBase III, R:Base System V, FoxPro, and MS Access. I have a BA in scientific communications and an MSc in Entomology & Forensic Science. I am currently working on my MSc in Computer Science.
