I have Masters Degree with Honour in Computer Science as well as Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from Project Management Institute (PMI). I have excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills, and expert knowledge of software development processes, methodologies, and environments. I have excellent verbal and written communication skills. I communicate easily with all levels of staff, stakeholders, clients, and the general public. I’ve trained myself to become a strong facilitator and public speaker through the completion of the Toastmasters International educational program, where I have achieved the highest designation, Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM). In 2014 I was named the Toastmaster of the Year in District 86, which I later served as elected District Director in 2016-2017 program year, and was recognized by the International Board of Directors for achieving the Distinguished District status. I am capable of communicating effectively to both technical and business sides, internal and external parties. I have great experience defining organizational priorities, projects’ priorities, teams’ priorities, my personal priorities, as well as helping team members identify theirs. I am committed to deadlines. I also help my teams and staff to meet theirs through regular prioritization and clear communication. I am a team player. I specialize in building professional teams and organizations and leading them to success. I am skilled to inspire and foster best practices and ensure delivery of results. In all my previous assignments I have demonstrated skills in building and managing relationships, chairing committees, building consensus, negotiating, and leading teams and organization towards achieving desired results. I am knowledgeable in science of project management. I also enjoy coaching, mentoring, and training on topics of project management and information technology. I am constantly receiving positive feedback from my mentees, staff, and students. On a regular basis I’ve been invited to Sheridan College, Conestoga College, various chapters of Project Management Institute (PMI), chapters of International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) and other organizations to teach courses and present workshops on information technology and project management. Many of my colleagues consider me as an expert in Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
