Kishore is working as a Post-doctoral Research Associate with his research focus on wastewater fingerprinting for public health assessment. He has a BSc Chemistry from PSG College of Arts of Science, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India, and a MSc Analytical Chemistry from Madras University, India. On completion of his studies he worked at the National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, India as a project assistant in a project for the development of paper-based sensors for cardiac and cancer biomarkers. Later, he joined the Lund University, Sweden as a Maire Curie Early Stage Researcher (PEPMIP ITN project), where he completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering under the supervision of Simon Ekström and Prof Thomas Laurell. His PhD research focused on the development of high-throughput methods for validating polymeric affinity materials using mass spectrometry and data analysis.
