left the following message for ANDREA JONITZ: "Hi Andrea. Greetings from Surrey, England. You may be a relative of Kurt Jonitz of Kronau with children Harry, Andrea and Ulli? Can't recall the mums name but a smiley blonde lady. Kurt had built a modern family home in Kronau if I recall correctly, an impressive project. I am originally from New Zealand and was travelling up from Greece in 1980 with my girlfriend Colleen on our motorcycle. We hit bad weather near Chiemsee and sought shelter at a campsite where a German family helped put up our tent in the snow and invited us for coffee once we were set up. It was Frau Jonitz with Harry and Ulli? Never forgot their kindness when it was really needed, we were frozen stiff without the motorcycle clothing available these days. Reason for the enquiry is I'm currently restoring that motorcycle which holds so many memories from New Zealand, Aussie, England and Europe and thought of family Jonitz. Kurt had welded a broken part on the motorcycle on a later visit. I found a Heidelberg university article from Harry but the inquiry was unanswered by them, definitely the right person but possibly wrong department. Best wishes. Regards. Neill Watkins."
