On Tuesday August 07 2018, Ernest Ginsberg from the United States left the following message for Wilfred Lakehomer:
"I'm in Florida living in a Continuing Care Community, remembering the many groups of people who have passed through my life over its several stages. One of the earliest was the Marvel Society at the Syracuse JCC on Cedar Street, the members of the basketball team of which included Al Meltzer, Bobby Wallace, Hishey Sorkin, Sandy? Lavine, you (with your down the outside lane hook shot), and me, among a few more. I'm now 87 and I suspect you are about 88 or 89. Don't worry, I am not looking for a handout. I just want to say hello, see how you are doing. And hear how life has treated you -- well I hope. As I look back, I see life's successive stages, "one season following another, day by day" and people you hold dear during each stage passing through and out of your life and leaving, only to be held in your memory. Best regards, Red Ginsberg"
