On Friday May 11 2018, Melinda Caldwell from the United States left the following message for Dennis Mikolay:
"Hi, as I said in the voice message, I am your mother's cousin and uncle Frank's niece! When your mother contacted me last year to get more information on the history of the malihan family since she was doing research, I was surprised to hear that Uncle Frank was still alive! I asked to see him and she said he has Alzheimer's or dementia and wouldn't recognize me, but that wasn't the point! I just wanted to be able to see him once before he dies! She apparently has this thing about not speaking to strangers even though we met years ago at Uncle Matt's funeral! That's too unfortunate because I would Embrace any kind of contact with Uncle Frank's children and grandchildren! If she wants to be that way then fine, but I would like to be able to see him one last time! I don't think that's so much to ask! I'm just hoping that he's not already dead since I messaged her last November again about him and never received a reply! Life is just too short for this kind of behavior! I'm not her enemy and was very fond of Uncle Frank and upset that I lost his phone number! It's true that my mother was a difficult person to get along with and he felt that way as well, but he still care for my well-being and told me he was sorry he wasn't there for me more when I was growing up! So, I hope you can understand how I feel I would appreciate a response from you about the situation! I tried to contact Jean, but was unable to get a phone number for her! If you have one, I would love to give her a call as well! Thanks so much for your anticipated cooperation."
Melinda Caldwell left an e-mail address and a telephone number.
