On Thursday November 09 2023, Bob Mason from Canada left the following message for CHEYENNE NAHANEE: "Hi Cheyenne, Just a quick message to say hi. I don't know if you, lol remember me-Pharmacist at Northmount Pharmacy when you were a kid. I was just reading in detail of the many families that I knew as patients and their war service. When I was working I was never aware of the contributions of my patients such as Andy Natrall, the Mirandas, Nahanees, and on and on. In the two wars. Shame on me for being unaware of their incredible contributions and the many years on Unacknowledgement of same. It is only in more recent years I became aware. I always appreciated knowing pioneer/native North Van people as my dad was born here at 637 W 15th in 1918. I well remember your mom, Del, who was always very special to me as a caring and lovely person. I was fascinated when she told me about her younger life in Skookumchuk. I have been there and love the country. Actually, I searched two small cemetery's there looking for her resting place but could not find it. I often think of her and your family as the Nahanees were special to me. No need to reply. Just wanted to let you know I still think of you all since my retirement. (I still am active a bit in my pharmacy, but not much). Cheers. Bob Mason."
