I was a skilled labourer for 40 years who built a small mechanical contracting company, Post Industrial Corporation, from scratch. I taught Industrial Gas Maintenance Technology, and purging of high-pressure, high-volume oxygen distribution systems at IBA Industrial Utilities Training Centre where I developed lesson plans, exams, and practical projects. I provided basic support services to three teams of research scientists in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Alberta. My psychiatric condition requires me to live within certain constraints. For example, I avoid most social activities. I have often had to endure social gatherings in extreme distress, unlike most people, who happily engage with others as a necessary part of life. Although I have a limited social life, I did score in the 98th and 99th percentile on entrance exams at the University of Alberta, and at MacEwan University. So I do choose to consider myself well balanced, in a slightly peculiar way. I work best when I am alone in silence, and can put my intellectual capabilities to full use. I enjoy working at my computer for 16 hours a day, building websites, developing and sharing business skills, solving problems, and writing. Since five years of age, when I began to read, I have thrived on feeding my mind with high-value information that challenges my comprehension. I have completed management courses at the University of Toronto and writing courses at the University of Alberta. In my view, management skills promote life skills, and writing skills enhance thinking skills. My mission in life is to fulfil my potential as a human being, and to assist others to do the same.
