I joined Forex Tester Software almost 8 years ago as a copywriter, then was promoted to a sales manager, a project manager and finally to a CEO position (all in a 4 years span). After almost 2 years of working as the CEO, I realized that technical aspects of creating software are way more compelling to me. That was the main reason why about 2 years ago I switched to a front-end developer role within my company. Once I gained the necessary hands-on experience I was promoted to a technical lead and eventually to a CTO position.
