I started learning web development in November 2017. Covering HTML, CSS, and Javascript early on, and now build mainly React apps and have integrated testing with Jest and Typescript for static use. I also have backend experience with PostgreSQL, encryption with SSH/bcrypt and have deployed sites on Heroku. I’ve also started to dive into C#/C++. I know I can apply what I’ve learned, adapt and excel in a developer role. I’d love to grow with further real world application in the field. Around the same time last year, I was also introduced to cryptocurrencies and have never looked back on the importance they can lend to providing financial independence and freedom to much of the more unfortunate people of the world. The importance of coding and blockchain is something I can’t ignore any longer and must continue to pursue. With anything I want to accomplish in life, I don’t ask “can I do this?” but “How can I do this?” It`d be a dream to be a part of a blockchain company as well. Prior to my fulltime direction in web dev, I spend 4 years doing forecasting, planning, and stats analysis in corporate retail with excel and stats packages like R and SAS. I automated sales plan creation with MS Access/SQL and reviewed standard operating procedures to efficiently allocate payroll along with adhoc statistical analysis across departments. I have practiced and committed myself to this industry, and I would love to commit myself to a business doing the same.I thrive off of responsibility and the need to always further my learning. I hope to further the field with that growing passion. ©
