About Test architect providing technical leadership and strategic direction across various products in R&D group established at offshore center in India. Technically hands-on designing and developing automation solutions for large enterprise applications being developed on cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and CI-CD pipeline. Also have working knowledge on AWS in the past. Technically capable of providing test automation solution for challenges in testing product components which are yet to get integrated with its counterpart components but need to be tested 100%. For example, User Interface (like Angular JS) which is yet to be integrated with back end API (which is not readily available) need to be tested completely. Similarly, an API need to be tested completely, but has dependency on an interface / another API (which is not implemented yet, so not readily available). Test Automation of these individual entities (such as mentioned above) in CI-CD pipe line needs deep technical understanding. Hands on experience on test automation of APIs programmatically using libraries like HttpClient (Current practice) or using tools like SOAPUI (used in past) based on development strategy Hands on experience on various test automation formats ranging from recent TDD & BDD format + Specflow/Cucumber + Protracor + .net framework / .net core, and in the past on various automation frameworks for UI like testNG + Selenium WebDriver + page object model+ Java, modular based / Keyword driven / data driven frameworks on VBScript (Mercury-QTP) In the initial years (first 4 years) of career, worked as J2EE developer. The working knowledge on developing server-side components helped in writing complex integration tests on APIs and various other solutions to client needs. While developing automation solutions for various platforms gained experience on various languages / scripting languages like dotnet C# (current) and Java, Ruby, VBScript, Shell Scripting, Groovy (SOAPUI) and well versed with usage of git-based repositories like bitbucket, github and their branching / merging models. For the last 6 years have been working in Agile – Scrum teams.
