Early Life of Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury He was born on 1st May 1945 in Chittagong and also spent most of his life there. there`s not much info about him, though one among his early entry into politics are often mentioned. In 1970, he was elected as Provincial Assembly for Bangladesh from Anwara-West Patia. He was also involved in political activities under the Bangladesh Chatra League, and he features a remarkable contribution to many student movements in his time. one among his early political achievement is that he was the author organizing “Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra†in Chittagong during our liberation war.
