I remember the day my sister decided to purchase our first computer, postponing the dream of a used car. It was this expensive back in 98. I was 9, lived in a small town in Minas Gerais state and I fell in love for that machine, charmed by the idea that I could be in all libraries around the world. Since I was a kid was interested by computers. On IRC I participated in channels related to things interesting to a kid and used to avail to learn programming. I created websites, channels and games (using RPG Maker, do you remember?). Here in Brazil after high school you have first to decide which course you will graduate. It`s not like in the U.S. where you join a university and can apply to different classes from different courses. I did not face this dilema most adolescents in Brazil face of deciding at age 17 what they will do for the rest of their lives. Computer was a natural path to me. While I studied Computer Science I got my first job in the field at age 18, leaving by side the time I used to help my father in his restaurant and his friends grocery stores and sweet shops. With the spare time I used to create websites to sell. Once I graduated I`d got a job as programmer in my own college. On this very time I started my post graduation. Currently living in Brazil`s capital, I teach people who never programmed through my online course (in portuguese) and help companies to solve their problems related to information using software. I always look to keep up-to-date. I don`t believe in certificates as an end, but as a mean. I`m a ITIL 2011, CobiT 4.1 Certified Scrum Master professional. I`ve been a PHP programmer for 10 years and a Python programmer for the last 4.
