Removal, Addition or Update of Information
LocateFamily.com will currently not modify any of the information contained in its database at the request of an individual since LocateFamily.com can not authenticate the source of the request. However, LocateFamily.com will suspend the listing of information if an individual can show that the information pertains to him/her and can provide substantiation of such a claim. In order to have information suspended, the individual must provide the full URL of the link on LocateFamily.com with a full name and a valid telephone number, and a valid and verifiable e-mail address. If the e-mail address supplied is invalid or if no e-mail address is supplied, the request will be rejected. Once this information has been received, LocateFamily.com will suspend the link by disabling it from public viewing while it verifies the information. LocateFamily.com will contact the individual via the telephone provided to authenticate the request. If the telephone number or the e-mail address is not provided, the request will be rejected. If all of the necessary information is provided, this process will usually be completed within a week. All requests in which the required information is provided will be investigated and the wishes of the individual making the request will be respected. Once the request is authenticated, LocateFamily.com may permanently remove the listing in question if the individual so desires. We thank you for your understanding.
