Francisco Azeredo is a financial economist with eight years of experience working for Northern Trust and leading consulting firms in the Chicago area. He is currently a vice-president and senior consultant of risk analytics at Northern Trust. His consulting experience includes macroeconomic modeling, analysis of complex financial instruments, interest rate modeling, and econometric and predictive analysis for matters involving financial institutions and multinational corporations. His research in macroeconomics and finance was recognized by leading economists in the Handbook of the Equity Risk Premium, Intermediate Financial Theory, and Real-World Decision Making: An Encyclopedia of Behavioral Economics. Francisco currently teaches at Northwestern University and the University of Chicago and has five years of prior experience teaching at the University of California, Santa Barbara and Riverside. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
