Prathap is almost 9 years experienced in Data Warehouse projects, with focus on TERADATA database. He has sound knowledge in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) with physical implementation of Data in Database. In last 9 years, he has taken key roles in almost 7 Data Warehousing projects across 4 organizations. He has designed Databases (created semantic layer specific Data Models with ERWIN), designed EDW Data Flow (Data Item mapping for semantic layer), ensured physical implementation of data with best practices, analysed and tuned SQL queries (TERADATA), documented EDW, led EDW development team, carried out technical sessions to educate team members, created technical documents or assets, and, of course, developed business logic whenever needed. Prathap had successfully tuned a huge number (more than 2k) of bad performing SQL queries of all possible types in TERDATA database. In his present organization too, in addition to his role of Semantic Designer, he successfully played the role of Performance Program Lead in Current & past projects. Prathap strength lies with his Analytical Ability, he is keen to learn new technologies and share the knowledge with others. Created many technical Assets on SQL performance tuning and key features like Geo-spatial (TERADATA). ©
