I joined, because I often find myself here reading about electrical dilemmas. However, I notice so many of the long time members decide not to answer the question, and instead to voice their opinion on whether they think the person asking the question should even pursue the task they are asking the question for. The point of this exchange is to share knowledge, NOT to tell someone you don`t even know if they are qualified to use a couple 18650 batteries and a solar panel, because god forbid you could burn your house down if you don`t know what you`re doing! I`m tired of reading ridiculous opinionated responses, masked as answers that don`t answer the question at all. If you don`t know the answer, just don`t respond, or if you really feel the inkling to respond, maybe you could say, Hey this is a great question, however, I don`t know the answer, but I must point out the Lithium Ion batteries are dangerous if handled improperly, but I`m sure you already know that. Just want you to be safe when you work on your project...good luck finding the answer you need! This is the biggest problem with today`s society, everyone wants to offer their opinion about every single little thing. Guess what, if someone wants your opinion, they will mention it in the question. Example: I have a question about wiring a 4P4S battery pack with 18650 LiOn batteries, how would i connect the BMC, charger and solar panel together. Also, if anyone has any particular opinion or thoughts about how to do this more efficiently, I`m all ears! Thanks! Notice the OP`s question asks the readers for their opinion in addition to answers. Please stop posting unsolicited opinions and pretending you are doing the world good, because you aren`t. It`s the morons that offer their opinions to every question that are made fun of in the labels on packaging, Beware, if you swallow this product it will kill you...toxic! Because of you guys having to offer you opinion on everything, someone felt the need to take satire to the next level and offer satirical warning labels on products, like antifreeze. Everyone knows you don`t drink antifreeze, but if we don`t put a label on a bottle of antifreeze that states, if you drink this you will die, someone will feel the need to offer their opinion at an automotive forum when someone asks, What`s the difference between basic Green Antifreeze, and the Pinkish Orange GM Dexcool Antifreeze? Opinionated assholes will respond with, If you don`t know the difference between the green and pinkish orange antifreeze then you shouldn`t be using antifreeze, take your car to your mechanic and have him fill it, because you might drink antifreeze and it is dangerous, so dangerous that it could kill you! You guys know who you are, as I have tailored my examples identically to the so-called answers that you provide on this exchange. Please, use your internet etiquette and only provide answers that actually answer the question being asked. Thanks!
