My love for technology began as a kid, writing scripts to start games in MSDOS with a single keypress. It was only natural from there to pursue a life in software development. I strive for a simple and tidy approach in the design of every piece of work I do; the KISS and SOLID principles of design and development are always at the forefront of my work. My professional experience has driven my passion for clean data and simple solutions to complex problems. Throughout my career and education, I’ve worked with many different languages and database platforms, each with their own unique features and challenges, and I’m always looking to expand my technological repertoire. In my spare time I have a whole host of hobbies including writing fiction, and in 2020 I published my first full-length novel, The Defense of Exeter Station. Specialties: Software Design, Database Architecture, ETL, Distributed Systems, Batch Processing, Release Management, Training, Knowledge Sharing
