I`m passionate about sales and business development. I have seven years experience in this market. I rate myself as a very good cold caller. Just by working weekends, I was able to bring in an additional £20,000 for the company in one year. I worked for the biggest Internet Service Provider company in Central Europe. It was a large team of over 30 people and I was asked to manage 10 of them. By doing this I proved that I do not require micromanaging. I was in charge of managing a pipeline of 400 potential clients. My boss gave a personal target to strike deals with at least ten new clients every day, as I was rated as one of the top performers for my cold calling business development techniques and my high-priced closing skills. I reached the target successfully and with ease by contracting a new client every one in 17 calls on average. I have great personal satisfaction from turning a client`s No into a Yes. I am currently interviewing at the business development, sales, and consultancy jobs. I am still an active consultant for my former clients. My positive personality and my natural sales skills will be an asset to any company. After graduating my bachelor degree, I had an offer of a full-time job from a medium-size logistics company in Russia, whom I had an internship with. For the first six months in the company, I worked with the CEO to find a more structured approach to financial accounting. After the investigation, I discovered that the company has lost almost £7,000 through having overcomplicated and time-consuming practices. In total, I spent six years working there. During that time, I participated in negotiations with clients and suppliers, prepared monthly and annual P/L reports and was challenged to give presentations to the Board of the company aiding strategic decision-making. I am advanced in using PowerPoint and Excel. Also, I took the initiative to develop the functionality of the accounting software. By doing this, I decreased internal bureaucracy and increased profitability by 32% per quarter. I was the youngest employee at the company and I still have an excellent relationship with my ex-colleagues. I naturally find efficient and creative solutions to solve problems and thanks to my engineering and finance degree; I have an understanding of how different businesses operate, which means I can help the clients come up with solutions that would add a crucial value to their business. I am good-natured, companionable and easy to work with. I have gained a unique perspective on cross-cultural communication having travelled around the world, studied in the UK and worked in Russia. I speak English and Russian fluently and have a strong command of Spanish. My ideal job would be in a cutting edge digital company, which is fun to work at.
