I ran the web development gamut from Perl in the late 90`s to PHP and then to C# over the years. On the desktop side of things, I went from VBScript/VBA-based tech in the mid-2000`s to dabbling in other approaches (e.g., Adobe Flex) and eventually settling on C#, just as I did in web development. I now develop MVC.NET, WCF, WPF, and console applications, primarily for distributed applications in which all of these technologies are touching, moving, or maintaining the same data. Though most of my time is spent coding, I will do whatever needs to be done to make solutions work. So, if no one else is available and better-suited for infrastructure setup, I`ll dip my toe in post-sales systems, network, and cloud engineering as needed.
