I am an IBM-certified ILE RPG Developer and have been for the last 15 years. I have been a consultant/contractor for the last 19 years working among many different industries, such as manufacturing, insurance, homebuilding, retail, and several others. My focus for most of the past decade has been non-standard interfaces to the DB2 database running on IBM i servers. For example, I am a subject matter expert for coding Excel spreadsheets to pull and push data into tables in Db2 for IBM i. I have also built many web pages and web services that run natively on IBM i. I currently sit on the Board of Directors for Metro Midrange Systems Association (MMSA), the IBM i Users Group serving the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. I have been the web master for the past decade. I built the last two web sites we`ve had. The first was hosted on IBM i and was written in ILE RPG using CGI techniques. The current was written on, and runs in, the Wild Apricot SAAS environment.
