I only recently began pursuing a career in web development, but I`ve been a programmer since my first encounter with HTML at the age of ten. I spent the last few years as a philosophy graduate student with a dream of becoming a professor. Much like programming, philosophy pushed me to think of creative ways to `refactor` my ideas to solve various philosophical problems. While I enjoyed the intellectual rigor of academia, I knew that I should be programming instead when I began writing programs in JavaScript, Ruby and PHP. ©
