As a Technical Support Engineer at Microverse; a remote software development school, I do not only have to find errors or bugs, but I also have to know how to avoid and solve them. Showing students the best practices and how to solve a bug is a constant task, so I always have to be aware of changes and innovations made in any language. I conduct code reviews on 500+ Pull Requests for more than 150 students on HTML/CSS, Javascript, Ruby, Rails, React, and Redux projects, providing code feedback and suggesting changes based on best practices. For these reasons, my work requires a lot of attention to detail. When I’m working on reviews, I am always careful about the different approaches that people use to solve problems. It is impressive the number of new techniques and ideas that can be learned this way. Hence, I have greatly improved my ability to solve problems. In my recent full-stack developer training, I spent more than 1300 hours mastering full-stack development while simultaneously developing projects with React, Redux, Javascript, and Rails.
