Currently, I am a project manager for an electrical subcontractor. Previously, I have held positions as a basic electronics technician, a systems technician and a senior electronics technician. In these roles I both designed and prototyped several circuits that have been put into production and also redesigned existing circuits to improve overall quality, performance and service life. Electronics is my passion and I have always fixed and/or improved my own radios, amplifiers, synthesizers and any other electronic gadgets that required a bit of tinkering. I have also designed several amplifiers for my personal use and for holiday gifts for my closest friends. My hobbies used to include writing and performing music, fishing, hunting, hobby electronics, etc. Nowadays however, I am currently pursuing my bachelor`s in electrical engineering. I am in my final year and thus, my EE courses take up all of my free time in the evenings and over weekends. I consider myself to be an engineer already and would argue this to anyone who claims otherwise. I will be the first to admit that I have much to learn and always will. In my eyes, being an engineer is about being dedicated, passionate and relentless in your quest to solve problems and make things work. I have found that with enough time and research, the stubbornness of a mule and the proper amount of head scratching and muttering, I can amaze even myself...and I am, like all of us, my own worst critic.
