Hello all. I am trying to help a friend of mine, find out about his birth father, whose names was said to be BOLER.
The father of this child was of African American descent, was also 22-years-old at the time, when my friend was born in Oakland, on September 22, 1969, (weighing 7lbs. 13 oz) and was from Tennessee. He was serving in the U. S. Armed Forces at the time of the birth. He may have been in computer tech, as well. He knew of the pregnancy and agreed that the child would be given up for adoption. He was the third of six siblings. He had one older brother and two younger. One owned an auto repair shop. He also had one older and one younger sister. The youngest sibling (the baby's uncle) would be about 58 now. Dad and mom had a short relationship and mom was friends with dad's sister.
The mother was said to be was a California-born woman whose mother was from Idaho and whose father was from Mexico. She was the second of four siblings, (three sisters, and one brother) and was employed as a telephone operator, likely Pac Bell. She was 22-years-old (she would be just about 70 now) and was 22 at the time. It is possible that her last name was Garcia. She had another son, from a different African American father, who was born in approximately 1967 who had convulsions at around age one. She kept that son and he would be 50-51-years-old now. If you can shed any light on my friend's situation, we would be extremely grateful as he just wants to know more about his father and mother, and will respect the privacy of anyone who does not wish to be contacted.
