My name is Mirzabek, Matchanov. I am from Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
For several years now we have been looking for our relatives all over America. My mom is the niece of a Sultanov Sadullah (can be renamed to another name). Sultanov Sadulla, emigrated back in 1939 from the city of Turtkul, Karakalpakstan, because of the Stalinist repressions of the USSR. My grandmother Sultanova Tukhtazhon told my mother that there are relatives in the USA and we need to find them. The last time Sultanov Sadullah sent a letter to my grandmother was in 1962.
At that time, she was summoned and interrogated by the KGB counterintelligence department. At that time, she was afraid that she might be imprisoned for this and denied that she did not know Mr. Sultanov.
