Me? I recently received a specialized certificate in embedded processor programming from UCSD Extension where we used c/c++ and Atmel assembler language. Also currently studying C# and have picked up some Python along the way. I`m a work hard, play hard kind of guy. My ideal situation right now would be working intensely on a project of 8 to 12 months duration, knowing that I would be free to play for a month or so when the project is wrapped up. I`m a guy that spent 30+ years in the corporate IT world, largely in project management or department management roles. Finally got frustrated with that environment, sold everything and went to yoga instructor training. Ended up dealing poker for a few years. But want to get back to programming/systems design which is why I got into IT in the first place. Yes, I know Autocoder, assembler, Cobol, Pl/I, Fortran from the old days, but I have recent experience with c/c++, Atmel assembler, C# and Python. Plus Sharepoint as a volunteer in the VA hospital in San Diego. The majority of my IT experience has been in the manufacturing environment. I have installed SAP, BPCS, ASK/MANMAN and CGC ERP packages. I`ve worked with several databases including Oracle and MS SQL. Also have done data models for a couple large data warehouses (cell phone company and programmer manufacturer). I still do yoga several times a week, and also bicycle quite a bit. I`m looking more for a JOB that supports my lifestyle, not a CAREER that becomes a lifestyle.
