Current food & beverage burnout (read: bartender) who`s facing the half-century mark & has "about had enough", as the saying goes. Instead of facing the prospect every shift of serving that one customer who just makes me want to grind their bones to dust, I`d rather bury my head in my Macbook & solve some of the world`s biggest problems, like "How do I turn this f##king trackpad off while typing?!?!?!" or even "Is it possible to complete every item on my towering TODO list for the day?!?!?" Yeah, I know...I might as well spend my time trying to map the human genome with a crayon on some napkins for all the success I`ll likely have with the aforementioned riddles. But, hey!!! Keeling over onto the floor of a sudden heart attack while my 2 cats stare at me like I`ve done something to offend them sure beats stroking out behind the bar at 2:30am because dips##t tourist number-1-million-ad-naseum threw the last 2 ounces of their drink at me because I "watered it down" by putting "too much" ice in it.
