I am a Seattle native, though my adventures have led me far and wide. I`d tell you about it, but as I`m about to sell the rights to my story, I really can`t. Besides I made it up. I was going to try and come off like the most interesting man in the world, but... I started programming when my Dad brought home an Apple][ computer. Now at a time when computers were quite rare in the home I had the good fortune to have been born to an early adopter. My Father`s business, (Airline Refueling), was often the excuse for early adoption. We had three VCR`s and a Camera for making corporate training videos, for instance. But he hit the jackpot with the Apple][. Over the next 10 years or so he automated his office by writing scheduling software, payroll software, inventory, maintenance, Time Clock, etc. He ended up buying 8+ Apples to run his software. You would be amazed with what a guy can do with 48k of usable ram. As for me, I began reading the AppleSoft Tutorial and was hooked! (I read the second half under the covers with a flashlight)
