I am a Director-level Technology Manager with a background in Web Development. I can be hands-on, but mostly I concentrate on People Management of the Tech team. I can work directly with clients, creative designers and copy writers, account folks, project managers and producers, front-end and back-end developers, QA engineers. I work with the creative team on ideation and creative technology prototyping, I collaborate with product and UX and IA teams to nail-down requirements, I`m in sync with producers on creating the Technical part of the timeline / schedule, right there in the trenches with developers, ready to jump in or put out fires. I am involved in architecting, requirements-vetting, technical scoping, timeline estimation and creation, resource allocation (assigning Developers and QA staff), running daily stand-ups, overseeing deployment and code hand-off. As a people-manager, I also provide career growth for my direct-reports through reviews and monthly 1-on-1 meetings with my team, making sure they have good, solid career goals, and find ways to motivate them. I recognize and celebrate personal and professional milestones. I have 1 hour a week for developers to explore new technology and work on their secret project, exploring new technologies for everyone`s benefit. I am responsible for recruiting, conducting interviews, and hiring new Tech talent as well.
