Hello, My name is Sergey Churayev, PhD. Currently I am intern in Advanced Micro Devices, Sunnyvale, CA, USA (Graphics Department, R&D in performance analysis and GPU model optimization). At Sep, 2014 I will finish my internship in AMD and I want find new job related to my specialization. From 2005 till 2010 I worked in South Korea as senior ASIC/FPGA design engineer in the semiconductors industry (DONGBU Hi-Tek in IP development team; IT-magic in acoustic solution team and in R&D center of Woo Kwang Tech Co., Ltd.). During this period, I designed a set of IP cores intended for TFT displays, DSP and CPU verification. Also I developed several methods to improve quality of semiconductor components and corresponding libraries (based on theory of probability and statistical analysis). Using these approaches I built on-chip measurements tools (with ASIC and FPGA implementation), which have been used in FAB verification process. As result of my job in semiconductor industry I defended my PhD thesis in 2012 at Saint Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (NRU ITMO). My research and design abilities are not restrict by on-chip measurements and chip design area only. I can work independently or in the team and would like extend my knowledge in others areas. By combining different tools, methods and working at the intersection of technologies, I’m focusing on research goals.
