I am a casual, itinerant, knowledge grazer. I wander among mathematics, statistics, programming, anthropology, history, and the history of ideas and philosophy. A lifetime ago I was an Anthropologist by profession; but since then I have traveled through a career in Information Technology in Aerospace, Finance, and Software R&D. Before I retired from IBM’s Global Consulting Services in 2010, I had been proud to be the Chief IT Architect at Canada’s largest software company – Cognos Inc. in Ottawa – for seven years.
