Over 35 years of programming experience, starting with BASIC using a teletype with punched tape storage connected to a regional time shared IBM system in 1974. First personal computer was an Epson QX-10 purchased in 1983, followed by an Apple Mac in 1984 and a DTK 386DX in 1989. Currently uses and maintains a home based wired/wireless network consisting of two laptops and a workstation. Have programmed on IBM, Honeywell, Harris, DEC, SGI and HP mainframe, cluster and micro systems running OEM and *nix operating systems. Fluent in BASIC, Pascal, FORTRAN, C, C++, Perl, Python, Ruby and Java languages, X Window and OpenGL libraries, most variations of batch processing and shell scripting languages, and HTML, Javascript and CSS. Dabbled in Ada, Prolog, Lisp, Forth and Modulo; 6502, 1108 and x86 assembly. Developed programs for data analysis, digital filters, 3D graphics, dynamic simulations and web services.
