I’m a year 2 aerospace electronic student at Singapore Polytechnic. I am interested in software engineering applied in the aviation sector. I have a strong interest in emerging technologies such as AR and VR. I developed a passion for such technology through participating hackathons. Throughout the vast number of hackathons I have participated in, I have lived through the notion of demo or die. This culture stems back from the early days of MIT media lab by Nicholas Negroponte as opposed to publish or perish in the traditional academic way of thinking. This has definitely built my confidence in picking up a new technology from scratch. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing. I love it as it draws parallels to programming good practices where it is first, understand; second, do. That’s my view of climbing and coding. Follow them and you will literally and figuratively be on your way to the top.
