Gratefully Gen Z. I graduated college July 2020 into the depths of the pandemic! While in school, my classmates and I designed and prototyped a product to help urban apartment dwellers compost. We then developed a marketing launch plan to take to SFSU`s 2019 Innovation Pitch Competition where we won 1st place among 20 contestants and took home $5,000. I was invited back to help further develop the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Fellowship with the program director. We guided 5 teams through the Design Thinking process over a year to help them turn their ideas into products and scalable business models. During the 2020 election cycle, I built a community-driven brand for presidential candidate Andrew Yang with the help of many dedicated volunteers. We dominated the internet conversation around the democratic primary, and provided an outsized voice for a candidate that paved the way for a new type of political figure.
