Mahdi is a Ph.D student in the School of Information Systems and Technology Management at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia. He received an M.S. degree in Software Engineering from Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran, Iran and also a B.S. degree in Software Engineering from the Islamic Azad University of Mashhad, Mashhad, Iran. Mahdi’s general research interests are in the field of software engineering, and to date his focus has been the areas of situational method engineering, Cloud Computing, model-driven engineering, and requirements engineering. The underlying theme of his research has been the development methodological solutions for software application development. Mahdi’s current research focus is on methodologies to support development of next-generation applications in the Cloud environments. He has been a member of Automated Software Engineering Research Group - Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering - Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran since 2010. Prior starting his PhD, Mahdi had several years’ experience in application development industry.
