Hello! My name is Danielle Wood and I’m a recent graduate of the web development coding bootcamp at UCF. I’m looking to join a company that has values and goals I can invest in, that values mentorship and transparency, and will help me grow as a new developer. During my bootcamp, I gained exposure, familiarity and practice with a variety of web development technologies, tools (ex. git/github) and developer mechanics. I developed an affinity for frontend application development during projects that leveraged JavaScript, React.js, Redux, Node.js, Git, Bootstrap, JQuery, SASS CSS3, HTML5, Heroku, Handlebars, Express, MongoDB, and Mongoose. With a background in theater, a realm that relies heavily on collaboration and teamwork, I am eager to see how my prior experiences can be leveraged creatively as I work as a developer. My experience working with diverse casts will be a benefit in working in diverse development teams. In addition, my lack of software development experience can be an asset as I don’t have any of the usual bad habits to “unlearnâ€. I’m flexible and moldable to your practices and preferences. Although I am new to this field, I am smart, retain well, and enjoy learning new things. I’m creative - in fact, during bootcamp it was often my ideas or naming suggestions that were adopted by the team. I work and collaborate well, and push through the frustrations and roadblocks that inevitably come during a development cycle. I’m excited about my new trajectory as a developer and am looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you so much for your time evaluating my resume and fit for a role on your team, Danielle
