Southern California Entrepreneur and Community Volunteer A resident of Los Angeles, Marc David Broidy has extensive experience in the financial industry. As a Smith Barney advisor in the early 2000s, he coordinated asset allocation strategies with high-net-worth individuals and families. Significantly expanding his international client base, Marc D. Broidy completed his firm’s management trainee program and next joined Merrill Lynch as an advisor. Mr. Broidy is a graduate of Pitzer College in Claremont. Majoring in theater, he had the opportunity to complete a semester abroad in the United Kingdom. As a trustee with his alma mater for nearly a decade, Mr. Broidy worked in advancement and governance capacities and vice-chaired the audit committee. He was successful in organizing and producing a Green Dorms opening night performance that included the participation of award-winning actor Robert Redford. Mr. Broidy also committed his time and effort to Cedars-Sinai Hospital for many years as a member of its Board of Governors. He fulfilled responsibilities that spanned committee assignments and capital campaigns that helped to raise hundreds of millions of dollars for a vital community health care institution. Marc David Broidy has an extensive knowledge of lighting design and pursued an MFA in theater management at Yale University. He is the co-founder and leader of the content creation studio, Wing8Productions.
