Post-doctoral fellow in Bioinformatics at the division of Oncology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. I am specialized in computational methods in biology that may improve the understanding genetic events that drive treatment-related late effects in children treated for acute myeloid leukemia (AML). I am currently working on genetic variations that may predispose children to risks for life-threatening infections and heart complications. I am additionally involved in the research of investigating variation in resources and practices in the care of children with AML by use of nationwide administrative data. It is anticipated that the required insights may eventually lead to novel recommendations and optimized clinical practices.
