Hi, I’m Christy, an interior designer turned UX/UI designer. As an interior designer, I worked to bring clients’ dreams to life through creative problem solving, research and space planning. As an interior designer, understanding the clients’ needs influenced every design decision. My job was to create a beautiful, yet thoughtful and efficient solution. My love for creating visual presentations for my clients led me to look for something more in line with my interests. This led me to UI/UX design, where I can use my creative abilities to create clean and functional interfaces that will reach many users. Transitioning into the role of a UI/UX designer, I intend to use my strong eye for design, problem solving skills and understanding of the users’ needs to create thoughtful products. By combining my design skills with my ability to empathize with users I can create logical user flows. I am passionate about creating engaging interfaces. Other skills I have developed include prototyping, user research and testing, wireframing, responsive design, and Adobe XD/Sketch. I am interested in working for companies that value communication and their employees. I aim to work for a company that allows me to build genuine professional relationships while encouraging me to continue my education. Check out my portfolio:
