I work in the private sector and do theoretical physics as a hobby. I am trained as a physicist and computer scientist, having an MSc from Waterloo in Physics and an MSc in CompSci from McGill. While at Waterloo, I was a member of the Perimeter Institute and my advisor was Lucien Hardy, a world leader in Quantum Foundations. In my research, I am using Category Theory to develop an approach to science and physics where a particular notion of information arises naturally and is well defined. I am heavily influenced by the relationalists doing quantum gravity and the Oxford Computing Lab where they use Category Theory to dissect Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Computing.
