In the past, I`ve been working as a UX and product designer with startups, medium-sized, and large companies from the media, agriculture, healthcare, and government industries, including Periscope Holdings Inc. They run a platform called BidSync that allows private companies to place bids published by US government entities (for example, public schools ordering new computers for their classes). We were a team of 2 UX designers and an outsourced research team that provided us with results from qualitative research with the users. My latest role as a product designer has been for Welltok Inc, a US-based Forbes 2019 cloud 100 company providing healthcare SaaS products for employers, hospitals, and pharmacies. Their core product is CaféWell that allows employees to join and complete health programs based on their situation and needs and with that improve their health and decrease insurance costs. The responsibilities included working with internal stakeholders (executives, marketing, sales, .etc), clients (companies like IBM and HealthFitness), and end-users to understand their needs. The proposed design solutions had to meet the requirements of internal/external stakeholders and provide the best possible experience for end-users. Besides the initial research and communicating with all the stakeholders, the responsibilities included creating prototypes, running usability test sessions (online calls with end-users that completed the required tasks with the prototypes), presenting the results, and working with developers to implement the new design solutions. As part of a larger design team, we regularly reviewed the work from each other and provided feedback. I`ve also been leading the work on a platform called Patientology that allows hospitals to create, run, and analyze digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms and Google. Before that, I`ve been part of a small team that worked on a Google-funded media project called Audiosume. The app that is available on the iPhone, Apple Watch, and iPad, uses voice technology to read out the latest news to the users. My role as the sole product designer was to cover the design process from research, ideation, prototyping, usability testing, visual design, animations, and working with the development.
