About me: I am a published Research Assistant at the Institute of Cognitive Science in Osnabrueck, Germany. I am focused on developing machine learning solutions in various fields, like cognitive science, epidemiology and geoinformatics, with a strong focus on modelling and data visualization. I was also on the data science team at the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin. The paper and code that I am most proud of can be found here: I like data visualization and sometimes write about data science, for example: Before starting my PhD studies, I volunteered at a number of astronomical societies and organizations in Croatia and Serbia for many years, lecturing and organizing meteor camps. If you want to contact me, here is my LinkedIn: Ideal Role: I am looking for a Senior Data Scientist role. I excel at creating models and testing them. I am interested in building machine learning models and forecasting. I am ready to move from a researcher role to a role that focuses on a product. The Company: I`m excited to start a role in a company, working with a product. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in research but I`m ready to begin something new. I would be open to a company that collaborates with research labs however, I am not looking for Pharma companies that deal with clinical trials. I am open to industries such as insurance, information technology, engineering, e-commerce, telecommunications, energy, health, life sciences, logistics, transportation and car industry. Tech Stack: I am most confident with Python as I used it in my projects and throughout my studies. I have a good knowledge of Matlab and I have some experience with R and SQL, having done courses for both of these. I am also familiar with dataflow programming, like Azure ML Studio or LabVIEW.
