That name should be taken with a grain of salt though since a few years ago a company (Rocky Boots) did a live TV demonstration in which they had a rattlesnake bite someone wearing their snake boots. As you can guess, since I`m bothering to tell the story, the snake bit straight through the supposedly snake proof boots. Luckily the person doing the demonstration survived. But still, it suggests that it pays to do thorough research to find the best snake boots and snake boot reviews. ©
