Creator, architect and lead developer of Brayns, a hardware-agnostic realtime ray-tracer for large scale insilico brain visualization (). Brayns is built on a micro-service modular architecture where every scientific use-case is a standalone plug-in (Brain Atlas, Diffuse Tensor Imaging, DICOM, In-silico simulation, etc). Brayns can run in a cloud container (Docker), on a consumer PC or in distributed mode on a super-computer like the Blue Brain 5 to achieve 40MegaPixels immersive rendering. Since 2017, Brayns has become a team effort and 7 engineers are now expressing their talent in the development of the Core, API, UI, and scientific uses-cases. The Brayns github repository is #1 in the ranking of the Blue Brain organization (124 repositories). Brayns is now the official rendering platform for the Blue Brain project, and a web-based rendering service for the Human Brain Project.
