As a kid I always enjoyed how things worked. I became fascinated with how complex systems integrated with each other and how large infrastructure networks work. I started my computer science journey while in community college, focusing on system administration. While learning system administration I always wondered how the underlying code works. After I transferred to CSU East Bay I started to learn to code. My focus at CSU East Bay was a general computer science degree with the Networking option as my love for infrastructure got the best of me. Right after college I found a job with LookingPoint, a network consultant and reseller of network equipment. At LookingPoint I design and implement network hardware for customers. While I don`t get to code at my job, I have started to find areas where my coding education is paying off. Within the last few years the network administration requirements have changed to include some automation though python scripting. Sense then I have restarted my love for coding to help me with my day to day job. More recently I started using AWS. I have received my AWS Solutions Architect certification and have worked with a few medium enterprise customers to move their workloads to AWS.
