Working as a Datacentre & Cloud Operation specialist supporting the technologies including Windows, VMware, Unix, AIX, Storage, Backup, AS400, Citrix, Antivirus, MS Azure Cloud support for 12 Datacentres & 180+ remote sites Automating the bulk of the data center operations, management, monitoring and maintenance tasks that otherwise are performed manually by human operators (more than 50% operation are automated) Automated routine processes such as patching, updating and reporting Educate customers of all size on the value proposition of managed services on Azure, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Azure technical and partner communities Configure the appropriate VMs, storage and network in Azure to support the customer workloads moving to Azure Azure technologies: App services, App registrations, Azure database, Azure Active directory, monitor, advisor, congnitives services, Virtual machine scale sets, Load balancers, Application gateway, Traffic manager, Network security group, Route table, Recovery services vault, Storage accounts, Azure databricks, Power BI, Log analytics workspaces, key vaults, service end points, etc Deployment & support of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS services in MS Azure Cost optimization using Azure advisor Implementation and support/troubleshooting Remote VPN, Site to Site VPN, VLAN, Routing, NSG’s Oversees day-to-day operations and provides broad delegation authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing of daily operations and maintenance activities Manages staff to support daily operational tasks, projects/activities and established priorities to ensure Key Performance Indicators are met Defines, acquires, and allocates budget, staff, and other resources necessary to accomplish KPIs, SLAs and customer requirements Manages all local customer installations, in coordination with Sales Engineering, Design & Construction and Colocation Operations to coordinate customer move-ins and turn-ups, including deployments, power circuit installations and connectivity requirements Manage compliance with the data Center standards, policies, procedures/practices and guidelines in the DataCenter. Strong quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills, with demonstrated ability to determine event root causes, performance shortfalls and required corrective actions Identify, develop and apply “Best in Class†approaches/practices to data center functions, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction - including but not limited to racking, stacking, cabling & troubleshooting of infrastructure Develop/update documents & checklists and train staff on best practices for efficient & effective Level 1server/storage/network troubleshooting Lead/partner with other organizations to troubleshoot and resolve business-critical situations
