Every morning, I wake up eternally grateful to be where I am today. Born into a family of immigrants, I`ve been blessed with an appreciation for doing hard work and with the idea that nothing is impossible in this world. And every day, I wake up excited, because new advances in technology are constantly stretching the limits of what is possible. As a 9 year old kid in 3rd grade, I remember how excited I was hearing about the first man who was tourist in space, and wondering when I would be able to take a trip. I felt that same excitement again, watching live when SpaceX launched and landed its Falcon 9 reusable rockets. And every day, I wake up driven, to participate in the world, and to make a concrete difference in people`s lives. My favorite of the UCLA True Bruin Values is without a doubt, Service. And in no small part, my appreciation of service comes from my five years working at UCLA`s Bruin OnLine Office, provide technical support for the whole campus. Assisting members from all the different parts of the UCLA community on a daily basis with their technical issues, I saw just how much impact our technology services help everyone`s everyday life. Today, I wake up on a mission, to find an engineering career where I will be able to design products or services that can truly make a difference in the lives of yet millions more.
