With over 20 years in Recruitment, Consulting and Technology, I offer colleagues, clients, candidates and stakeholders technical, functional and business insight as well as recruitment expertise in my core markets and disciplines. I`m relationship-driven. I`m here for the long-haul. Technology and LinkedIn are wonderful but I prefer to speak to and meet the people I do business with. I drink a lot of coffee as a result. Over the years, I`ve been part of a senior management team (Managing Director, seat on main PLC board and a significant shareholder) that floated a recruitment business on AIM and latterly, a main LSE listing. â— I`ve designed and delivered complex managed service contractor solutions rolled out across Europe and Scandinavia; â— turned around a failing, insolvent staffing group with substantial debts without recourse to further funding or debt; â— built a highly profitable team with 70 fee earners across three hub offices; â— after a life-changing illness, I lost my eyesight twice and I got it back twice (I`m fine now, thanks for asking). I don`t give up. I keep coming back. I have a demonstrable track-record of winning new business, retaining existing business and growing relationships, hiring well and turning around under-performing businesses, teams and people. I like Gibson and Fender guitars, mountain bikes and rare breed sheep when I`m not doing the recruitment / work thing. I`m an unpaid cheerleader for most things Oracle.
