LaVern Sula was born in Belize, Central America. At the age of seven, she immigrated to USA where she lived in New York City. LaVern Sula completed her schooling from New York. She had keen interest in music, so she was admitted to the Carmen Shepard School of Music where she spent 6 years for learning classical piano. While learning piano, she gave many classical piano recitals at Carnegie Hall. LaVern Sula took admission in New York Institute of Technology to study Mechanical Engineering and graduated in 1988. After completing her graduation in Mechanical Engineering, she was hired by General Motors as a Quality Control Engineer and Supervisor. At General Motors, LaVern Sula gave her precious contribution by holding many positions like Maintenance General Supervisor, Variation Simulation Modeler, Business Information Manager, Executive Technical Assistant, Director, Electrical Systems, Vice President at Technical Centre India and Global Engineering Director (Vehicle Cyber Security). LaVern Sula established a Graphic and Web Design company in 1996 named ‘L. Publishing & Graphics Ltd’. LaVern Sula married Dan in 1992. After getting married, they both went to Rochester Hills, Michigan from Warren, Ohio. She has a happy family life with her husband, mother and two dogs Kramer and Morgan. LaVern Sula got appreciation many times at General Motors for her target oriented work. LaVern Sula has good entrepreneurial skills as well. At present, LaVern Sula is running the business of Web Designing where she is successful in her efforts. LaVern Sula’s hobbies are playing golf and experimenting with new technologies.
